Sophie started at our school at the age of 6 and stayed with me for 13 years. She studied Ballet and Freestyle gaining very high marks in all her exams, and then added Tap to her studies as a teenager. Sophie was passionate about her dancing, especially her ballet and qualified to attend the IDTA Midlands Ballet Championships in 2018 and 2019 which she really enjoyed. She went to Plymouth university and even continued studying over zoom, returning to take exams in Grade 5 Freestyle and Intermediate Performer Ballet, both of which she passed with Distinction. She was awarded the school’s Dancer of the Year Award in 2017/18 and 2019/20.
